Mako cheats on his girlfriend Asami while she is blissfully unaware with Korra. While Korra herself is a great role model, her romantic choices are definately something no kid should ever take to heart. The episode revolves around the romance of the main characters. They are now commonplace in this series, along with more visible pain from receiving blows from rocks, fists, and so on.Įpisode Five, "The Spirit of Competition" is the episode that marks this as being inappropriate for young kids. Kicks to the face or groin were rarely seen in the original series. The main villain and his minions are extremely frightening he can disable their bending abilities permanently while his minions can disable temporarily, all causing great pain to the bender. The original series was rather lighthearted at times, but Legend of Korra is more darker, more intense, and more mature. Nick has been marketing it to young teens to adults and I am starting to see why. However, by episode three, I start to question if this is for anyone below the age of 13. ![]() ![]() The first two episodes are rather calm and normal.
